Green Satellite Facility Planned by Cabarrus County

Cabarrus County Commissioners have selected YCH to design the satellite office/operations facility that will house various county departments including the Board of Elections.

This project marks the first building of the planned satellite campus that is located on the old county fairgrounds.  The entire campus will be master planned and design to be high performing / green friendly as we expect LEED certification to be pursued.

School Dedication Ceremony in Union County

A ribbon cutting ceremony marks the grand opening of Union County newest addition, Sun Valley Elementary School.

Sun Valley Elementary School is a 97,785 sq. ft. with a 850 student capacity.

Union County Public Schools Award YCH Renovation Projects

Union County’s Sun Valley Middle School and Sun Valley High School are planned to undergo renovations / alterations.

YCH has been chosen by Union County Public Schools to be the design firm for each projects.  Construction is expected to start in the summer of 2009.  The full extent of the work has not yet been determined.

Civil Engineering in South Carolina

YCH is pleased to announce that our in house civil engineer, B. Steve Whaley, PE, has obtained his license to practice Civil Engineering in the State of South Carolina by the South Carolina State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors. 

Steve is a 1986 Graduate of UNC-Charlotte with a BS in Civil Engineering and has been licensed to practice civil engineering in North Carolina since 1997.

YCH has been commissioned to design the new CMC-NorthEast Rehabilitation Center located on CMC-NorthEast’s Copperfield Boulevard satelite campus.

The 2-story, 75,000 square foot Rehabilitation Center will include:

  • Urgent Care Clinic
  • Orthopedics Clinic
  • Occupational Medicine
  • Cardiac Rehabilitation Therapy
  • Physical & Occupational Rehabilitation
  • Speech Therapy & Audiology
  • Common Areas & Space for Future Tenant(s)
